Herb butters are easy to make and elevate the foods they garnish. We particularly love this combination of chives and watercress for simple tea sandwiches, garnished with fine slices of lemon, radish, cucumber or roasted pepper.
Prep: 10 min • Ready in: 10 min
Cream the butter with the back of a fork until malleable and work in the chopped herbs, a good pinch of sea salt, a few grinds of fresh black pepper and about 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Spread this onto Roan Mills Sonora Sandwich bread that has been trimmed of the crust for an elegant tea sandwich.
