Regenerative and organic farming practices are the core of what we do. We have turned over several plots of farmland from conventional to organic over the years. While this process takes time, we are able to see the soil and vegetation respond quickly to this sustainable change.

We have worked with the regional conservation efforts under the stewardship of the Friends of the Santa Clara River by dedicating five acres of riparian land along the river to a permanent conservation easement that adjoins the Hedrick Ranch Nature Area. This is land that is dedicated to natural conservancy and is not farmed in order to maintain a healthy ecosystem. This helps with natural water storage and retention, water quality, erosion control, helps with climate change and wildfire protection. This biodiversity and wildlife refuge that this area provides brings a balancing effect to the areas that are being cultivated. Other regenerative farming practices include planting flowering annuals between lettuce rows and fruit trees to support symbiotic relationships between our crops, pollinators and insects.
